Why We Say ‘Aavjo’: The Story Behind Our Name and What It Means to Us

When we were naming the farm, nothing felt quite right at first. We weren’t looking for something flashy. We weren’t building a resort.

We were building a space—one where people could come as they are, rest a while, and feel like they belonged.

And then the word just landed— “Aavjo.”

It’s a word we’ve heard all our lives in local conversations. A soft, smiling goodbye. Spoken gently at bus stops, train stations, doorsteps after a meal. It doesn’t mean farewell or see you maybe. It means—Come again. You’re welcome. Always.

"Aavjo" is not just a word. It’s a feeling. A blessing. A doorway left open. It carries the kind of warmth that doesn’t end when someone leaves. It stays.

And so, Farm Aavjo was born.

Not just a name, but a promise. That whoever comes here—whether for a weekend, a month, or just a cup of chai—is always invited back. Because once you’ve been here, you’re part of it.

People often ask us if it’s a Gujarati word or Marwari. Truth is, it flows in both. It’s part of this land. Part of how people talk, love, and part ways—with hope, not endings.

Every time a guest leaves and we say Aavjo, we mean it. Come back. To the trees, the soil, the horses, the fire. Come back to the version of yourself that felt at home here.

Because you’re not just visiting a farm. You’re returning to something inside you that maybe you forgot for a little while.

And whenever you’re ready—Aavjo.
